Some stray imagination conjured by a child
Is it scared of what it sees?
It catches glimpses of us as it falls asleep
Our universe stuck in a dusty corner of its consciousness
For a moment, it could inhabit your view
“Mama, I saw it again”
“What did you see this time?” She prepares her pen and paper
“A species of flesh and blood”
